Type USE-2/RHH/RHW-2, building wire is designed for general purpose wiring in residential, commercial and industrial building construction and in underground power distribution and network systems. The cable meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Standard #854 for Type USE-2 and Standard #44 for Types RHH and RHW-2.
The cable has a maximum operating temperature of 90° C in dry and wet locations. Like all STABILOY® building wire products, the conductor insulation for Alcan USE-2 cable is free of harmful heavy metals*. Rated at 600 volts, the cable is sunlight resistant and is approved for use in accordance with the recommendations of the National Electrical Code in raceways and underground installations.
STABILOY® alloy conductor is recognized by ASTM in Standards B800 and B801.
